Many flosses have been shown to contain harmful microplastics (PFAS) and this has been tested to be free of these, which is good and why I decided to try it along with it being inexpensive. But it’s a thin tape and despite this and being waxed I find it a little tough to work with and to slide in and out between some of my teeth, which have tight gaps to be fair. I find the waxed store brands like CVS Ease Between and Top Care (ShopRite) Hi-Tech floss to be much easier and more comfortable to work with as the tape grips my fingers better and doesn’t cut into them as much — I think because they use more wax than this does — and also have been shown to not contain PFAS. So this is good and healthy if it works for you, but I’m switching back because ease of use with this is an issue for me.
