I'm having trouble sleeping. I've been using a bean bag yoga pillow (not sure what else to call it) over my eye. its nice, and keep extra light out. However, turn your head and it falls off. I've saved some of the airplane flight masks that you get on those ocean crossing flights. They have the benefit of elastic strap, but do a poor job of fitting and keeping light out. Sleep is important. I'm not sleep well and though maybe I should try something different, something better. I saw this and decided to have a go with it Pros: - adjustable elastic strap - completely blocks out light - slightly weighted - recessed area need eyeball - foam ear plugs an added bonus - carrying pouch included Cons: - someone with large head, it may not expand large enough to use - need to play with the adjustment and positioning Product Packaging and Aesthetics: Colorful boxing. The mask itself if a plain grey. Black on the inside which makes sense to me. Maybe having colorful graphics on the outside of mask could be fun. The adjustment and positioning make take a few attempts. Positioning my pin the ears to much. Adjustment may put excess pressure on bridge of nose. Overall though, its flexible Product Quality and Durability: My initial views on product quality and durability are: I am unable to comment, with personal experience, on long term quality and durability. Considering the material and construction, I feel that the elastic strap is strong. Not sure how long it will stay stretchy. Using a scale of Poor, Average, and Excellent for product Quality and Durability. Personal Rating: (above) average Product Value: This review is not explicitly about the cost, rather the personal value at that price point. If it works, then it might be a better value. That type of evaluation will take a number of weeks. I have a similar sleep mask that is almost 2x the price and is NOT weighted. That other mask also did not have a carrying case. I saw that this brand is adjustable and doesn't press on the eyelids and after using them I find it to be true. I also find that these are very comfortable, more so than any other brand I have used. What I like about this Weighted Eye mask for Sleeping: I wish I had these when I worked night shift and tried to sleep during the day! These are wonderful! They are so light weight that I don’t feel anything on my face. The elastic is soft and I don't notice them on my head. They are adjustable to fit any head and adds to a more custom fit to block the light exposure. They have a deep hollowed out region so the eyes have no added pressure and I can even open my eyes with the mask on my face. They are 100% darkening and no light filtered into my husbands nor my sleep. We have a street post light outside our bedroom but have black out curtains: but with these we can sleep with the curtains opened allowing the fresh cool air inside the home. It’s Worth every penny for a good nights sleep! They come with a silky soft fabric bag with drawstring closure for storage plus soft ear plugs to reduce outside noise. Gentle hand wash and hang to dry if needed. I will recommend these sleep mask for all my medical shift working colleagues. Our family has enjoyed these mask so much that I got this mask for our guest room. This is our third purchase for this mask as they are quality and now everyone in our family wants their own. Review of: 3D Sleep Mask for Side Sleeper - Weighted Eye Mask These sleep masks with the deep eye pockets are the way to go for ultimate sleep comfort, and this one is excellent. The mask is very comfortable and the deep eye pocket meant that I did not feel any pressure on my eyelids. I can confirm that this mask does provide total blackout even in the brightest room. I would also add that the side band on this mask is better than others that I’ve tried. Some do not offer the level of cushioning that this one has and unlike the cheaper versions, this one feels good on your ears. There is some weight to this mask and while some prefer the feeling, it doesn’t make a difference to me, but it’s also not uncomfortable. The mask comes with some earplugs but they’re stiff and don’t block out sound very well. You should pass on these and nvest in some good earplugs if you need silence as well. There is also a carrying pouch, which is a nice touch and great for travel. Overall, a great mask that I would recommend.

These are just a wee bigger for both myself and my husband. They are too big in the height as well as too big in the west. I would say both my husband and I are pretty average as far as structure of our heads. But the reason I bought these was because they came in a two-pack and I thought I would be saving. We have the MZoo brand and the fit is luscious. My review has two photos to show the difference in the density of the foam as well as the pattern of the product. The lower image (in black versus this product in blue) represents the MZoo brand. Because they are so big on my face I have to make it a little too snug in order for them to keep out all the light though it's fine enough. I also think if this was the first ones we bought we might not care that they are the way they are. What we're doing is we're going to put these in our guest rooms, give one away as a gift, and go back and order MZoo.

This is called a weighted sleep mask but it weighs 3.5 ounces. There are some types of beads that are filled in the raised part that rests against your face. The beads are placed to cover the top of the forehead and just under where the straps connect. The rest of the raised ridge under the straps that go under your eyes has foam. The foam does not have any memory effect that I can tell; you can compress it, and it instantly expands right back. The material is soft, and when you wear it, you get complete darkness. The best part of this eye mask is that your eyelashes do not touch or rub against the inside. With a flat or non-3d style. my lashes would touch the front, and it was just annoying. I do not experience that at all wearing this. This also comes with a little storage bag to keep this in. Overall, it's a good 3d sleep mask, but I wouldn't consider this weighted.

This sleep mask is huge, folks. It's way bigger than I expected, but I can see how helpful it is to have a sleep mask in this shape, so that it's up off the eye lid rather than pushing down on the eye lid as you're trying to sleep. The strap is super simple and easy to adjust, and holds its place well once adjusted. The color is a rich, gorgeous red. It came with small earplugs for those who'd find that helpful, as well as a small soft carrying case to protect the sleep mask when not in use. The only thing I don't love is that it's SO good at blocking out light, that it also puts some unwanted pressure at the top of my nose, which makes me feel like I'm not able to breathe as easily. Not sure whether this is something I'll get used to or whether it'll mean I can't utilize the sleep mask but I'll keep working with it and trying because otherwise this thing is seriously perfect at blocking out light and feeling so soft agains the skin while doing it.
